    That is what librarians do - or at least it is what we try to do. Working for Disney, you know all about customer service. Hope you continue to find good books.

    Hi Allison, yes read The Talisman, I loved it. You might also like Weaveworld, written about the same time. I think the author is Clive Barker

    Terry Pratchett is my favorite author. You should read "Colour of Magic" but it is not among my favorites. I would recommend "Wyrd Sisters" which is sort of based on "Macbeth," or "Mort" in which DEATH takes an apprentice, or "Guards! Guards!" which features the Night Watch. I think my favorite 'Discworld' book is "Going Postal." I hope you will read Terry Pratchett and that his books bring you as much enjoyment as they have me.

    Woah! Crazy. :) I'm barely ever on here anymore because I found goodreads and they give away books, but I'm glad I kept this profile. How are you?

    I would have had a lot more books to add a few months ago. But I recently got rid of a lot of my old irrelevant books. Mainly apple books.

    Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
    There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES.
    The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. May BOTM have been;
    1. Choke by Palahniuk, Chuck, 2. Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak 3. Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake 4. Works of Poe
    We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy.
    June’s BOTM are The God of Small Things by Roy, Wide Sargasso Sea by Rhys and Midnight’s Children by Rushdie. I will post new discussion questions in June.
