I love to read! I mostly read fiction, though I also love anthropology-related non-fiction. I read sci-fi/fantasy, murder mystery, time-travel, classics, and anything else that catches my eye. A book's placement on a bestseller or book club list doesn't automatically mean I'll like it because I don't always read what other people read. I'm a free agent with an odd personality; I like what I like with no regard to what other people may and may not like.

I love suggestions from friends. When I'm meeting someone new, I am often inclined to ask them for a few of their favorite titles which I might read in an effort at gaining a better understanding of who they are. « less
