Hi Al-thanks for putting http://wwoz.org on your tag & Tell at DW. I'm listening to it now!
Not sure of you have heard of pandora.com, but we use it (free) for our music pleasures.

BTW, I let a friend of mine know there's a Bo Jangles in Brooklyn and his face lit up like a Christmas tree. As soon as we're done with house guests I think we'll have to make a visit.

Diversity Works seems to be the group with the most fingers flying over keyboards this week, but there's always room for more. I believe that's the point, really. Come on down! You're the next contestant on the Price is Right! How much DO Slim Jims and a packet of skittles really cost? Is it the five or the eight, Al? ;)

Thank you for your contributions to Diversity Works. We're working on some of the nastier elements, it's not always quite so combative.

Hi I came by to welcome you to the India group.
I hope you've noticed we are doing our first group read of English, August by Upamanyu Chatterjee. I'm nearly finished the book and I've really been enjoying it. Please feel free to join any of the ongoing discussions or to start a new one. Welcome!

Thanks. I see you have an afinity for many of the edge writers I do. I just read Matt Ruff's Bad Monkeys and Gibson's Spook Country is on my short list. I also recently got a fair first HB edition of Nova Express (for my birthday, from me).

OMG, BoJangles in Brooklyn. I'm so there. Boberry biscuits cure all on a Sunday morning with no sleep. Extra special seasoning on the fries doesn't hurt either. Thanks!

Great to hear there are other sys admins doing "good stuff" with their free time! I truly believe that time == money == values. We need more sys admins like that at Stanford.

Nah, I'm not from one of the wards. We call 'em counties where I'm from, but I did do a little dance of happiness when I found the Krispie Kreme up here. But no Bo-Han-Glez. Alas. Try The Delta Grill some time. Citysearch it. Worth a visit.
