“As an adult, I can read this a pure fantasy, but I am not sure I would want my daughter to date such a character.
The characters are a bit flat, as is the relationship. I read it as the early Victorian Romances (think Ethan Fromme and Wuethering Heights) The way the characters "fell in love" was never really explained or developed, like I expect from the current books that I read.”
