Hi there, only just got around to reading responses to my posts! Love to talk to you about creativity theory. There's actually a stack of info on musicians and creativity - my father did his PhD on Csikszentmihalyi and songwriters (yeah, yeah, it's all in the family!). As a teacher of poetry, i would love your input on how i could improve this recent poem. i am also sending it so you get some sense of what i expect a poem to look like:

Sun on the old Tile Walls


The way the sun comes

Through my bathroom window

The way the light plays

On the old tile walls



The hum of the neighbor's

Air conditioner in the evening

Makes me think of ten thousand nights

I have heard that sound


And I feel like I have

Spent my life in Florida

I wonder if after all

I am becoming a tropical man


All sun and rainy afternoons

No frosts and icy puddles

Left in my memories

No cool September morns


Just green grass in December

And sun on the old tile walls.
