I grew up in Southern California with a family of blue collar relatives. I broke from the mold and went to college at BYU, studying Korean. I met and married my wife (South Dakota native) and began law school at the University of Minnesota. I graduated from law school in May 2009 and passed the Minnesota Bar shortly thereafter. I will begin... more »

It's nice to see you on Shelfari! I liked your list. I am going to have to go through them again and add a bunch to my plan-to-read list. I wish they had Korean books on here... That's the only downside of this website. :)

HI, Since you liked RAPP so much. I guess you woudl love the work of another author. Matthew Reillly. His character is a guy called Shane Schofileds Aka SCARECROW. read it and rapp would seem like slow. AREA 7 and ICE STATION are true works of art and the best thrill i have had. P.S: i have read all Mitch Rapp encounters and this comes straight from me. Shane Schofield is equally good if not better than Rapp.

Dear AAron: My nephew is also Aaron K. He's an architect in Vermont. Good luck with law school. My Aaron's mother teaches law. If you like fast-paced books, I would like to present mine to you as a summer option to law texts. It's called HUNTING THE KING, and it just came out in April. The novel features Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you're not busy studying, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter
