I love books of all types, but read primarily romance. I am marrried with 2 small children. They keep me pretty busy, but I still find time to read every night. I read around 100 books a year -- I used to read a book a day, but obviously family has cut into that :)

I will never get around to reading all the books I own, but I get just... more »

Not Balogh's best, but worth the read.

Great start to this juvenile series. I read it to my son's 4th grade class. Perfect for kids.

    One of Flynn's best books.

I really like the way Jo Goodman writes. Her characters are interesting and her plots are just a little bit different than everyone else's. This book was the second in the Compass Club series and takes place concurrently with the others in the series, which was a little difficult to follow since I hadn't read the first in the series for a couple of years.

I liked Montalvo, but Eve Duncan has just become annoying. I felt many of her actions in this book qualified as TSTL.

I liked the first one in the series, but this one just couldn't keep my interest.

Not my favorite Balogh, but it was certainly a unique premise -- prostitute as heroine. And not a fake one either. I've always hated the books where the heroine is a prostitute for one night -- with the hero.

I really enjoyed Benson's Regencies and was looking forward to her first contemporary book. It was really disappointing! I didn't like the characters, didn't think their actions were reasonable or at least not justified by the author. I skimmed most of the book and after reading the ending, I almost threw the book across the room. The Accidental Duchess is one of my favorite Regency historicals, but I won't be buying another contemporary by this author.

I really like this author's work as Lisa Gardner but this was only okay. The suspense didn't work well and I didn't really care for the hero.

Related to the Spymaster's Lady. Really more a gothic than a traditional Regency. Good story.
