I've recently gotten into The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Incredible series and so much fun. Why I didn't find it before - I'll never understand. I'm also a pretty big fan of Rob Thurman's Cal Leandros Novels which are probably the best monster books I've read since Christopher Pike.
I've got a few books that I've loved since grade school. Namely LJ Smith's The Vampire Diaries, MC Sumner's The Coach, and Jane Yolen's Pit Dragon Trilogy. I still reread those.
Currently I'm all about the urban fantasy craze, but I've had to restrict myself to primarily adult fiction. The current young adult selection isn't very interesting and a bit overly formulaic.
I love doing fan art for the books I read. Yeah, it is completely nerdy, but so much fun! So kids, check out my DA account. It is under the same name, airyie.
If you have any kind of creepy book that you just have to recommend me to, PLEASE recommend it to me! I'm like a book worm of sorts.
Oh, and if my icon didn't give it away, I like zombies and am completely pro- zombie books. Well not anymore. I can't make it through World War Z. It just doesn't appeal to me. Oh well....
