Yeah I was trying to think of really good recent authors, but I couldn't because I am so reluctant to check new authors out because I hate starting a book and being disappointed, as i'm the type of person who feels obligated to read the whole thing anyways!
Hmm I don't know if it is of her. It was a picture I particularly liked off a fashion brand site. I probably have the link somewhere, but i'll have to dig lol. I'm interested in foreign culture because America seems to have ran out of ideas =/ Everything is so unoriginal and trashy here haha. There is not a lot of substance left it seems. Oh well! I've thought about making my lj public, but I just can't seem to make myself do it.
A friend of mine recommended the author Banana Yoshimoto and I loved the book I just read, so if you haven't you might be interested! Aw thanks for the compliment. Oh wow, exactly! I thought Naoko was a beautiful special character and Midori just seemed more like your typical uninteresting girl! I didn't see much substance in her. So many people state Midori as their favorite Murakami character!
