I started reading when I was four years old, and I pretty much haven't stopped since. As my mother has remarked, if there's nothing else available, I will read the toothpaste tube. I read everything except romance novels, and as long as the book is well written, I'll finish it even if I'm not thrilled by the story. I guess I'm always optimistic that it will get better. Plus, I hate leaving questions unanswered.
I am currently a SAHM to two kids and a military spouse. Someday I'll return to my career as a social worker, even though it will, sadly,severely decrease my reading time. =) **********************I have read all the books on my shelf, although I don't necessarily own them, as that would take up a lot of room. My Reading List is made up of books that I currently have in my possession and am going to read whenever the mood strikes. I do not own any of the books on my wish list, so (HINT,HINT) if you are in need of a gift idea for me, that would be a GREAT place to start! *********************** THINGS I LIKE:

THINGS I LOATHE:
Phonetic but incorrect spelling ("Kwik-E-Mart"), Hershey Kisses, cliched writing, political diatribes, popular authors who just can't write, gas station restrooms, drunk drivers, indecision, hypocrisy.
