Sorry guys. Shelfari isn't a dating service and I don't use it as such. My 'racy' bookshelf doesn't mean I'm desperate/lonely and in need of a man to make me feel better. I read these books because I enjoy them. Plus, I'm married. So you are out of luck.

Okay, totally understand that you don't want to put too much work in a house and garden when you want to sell it in the future. Just enough to make the place nice.

Well you don't think my TBR pile is small right now, do you? Even though I'm catching up on some books during my time off, I'm nowhere done with that thing and I'm beginning to realize that it will aways be the case. I adding more books then reading...LOL...but hey as long as I'm having fun with my books I'm not really complaining.

True, if you don't like the sound of the reader, then audiobooks will be a hell to get through and you don't want that. Thanks for the tip about getting a sample before buying the stuff. Oh no, you didn't liked the reader of Ghost Town...well that could ruin the book.

Well I just finished Cast in Silence by Michelle Sagara, it's her fifth book in her series. I want to read book number six too this week, before I'm getting back to work next week. And the next release will be in September, so I'm looking forward to that one. Not really sure what I'm going to read next...maybe Cast in Chaos by Michelle Sagara (so that I'm finished until the next one) or maybe the Deeper than Midnight by Lara Adrian....or I could read the second book in the Psy-Changeling series.....Damn too many choices...LOL...

I know exactly what you mean with stripping wallpaper....it's aweful stuff to get of the walls. That is one of the reasone I don't have wallpaper, but painted walls....LOL...much easier when you are tired of the color....just paint it over and be done with it.
Of course it will be worth it when you are done with the place, I bet it will look amazing. What are your plans for the house?

Oh I'm definitely enjoy my time off work, one week done, one more week to go. The weather is not so great at this moment, but I don't really mind. As long as I can do what I want to do, then I'm a happy person. I was so tired with working seven months straigth, so I really needed this. I already read a lot, so my TBr pile is shrinking slowly. I think by the end of next week I'm done with the books I wanted to catch up on.

I made some rules requiring NetGalley too. I won't request that many month within the same month...two or three is the tops, otherwise I will not be able to read the rest of my own pile. I like to review for NetGalley, but it must not interfere with my own reading. I like S&S too, not presure....just read the book when you have the chance...if not that's okay too.

Hmmmm...maybe I have to try the audiobook too....for in the car when I'm driving to work and then back home. You're right it does come in handy when you cannot actually read the book.

What are you reading at this moment?

LOL..is it that bad...so you need another holiday....well maybe you can plan something in the future...then you have something to look forward to.

Well my vacation starts today...I’m off for the next two weeks and I really needed it. I’m so tired lately, then two weeks off is just what I need. I can relax and catching up with my reading. I don’t want to think about all the work that will be stuff up in my office...I will think about that when I get back...LOL..

No I haven’t read the Kowalski Family series, but I will check them out. You know I always follows your lead with the books...LOL...I just check out the book descriptions and I have to say I like it....more books for my TBR pile..LOL...

You are not the only one with a lot of NetGally requests...I have a few too...Luckily I choose books with release dates apart from each others, so I don’t have to read them back to back...LOL..

No I never listen to an audio book. I’m not really sure what to think of that. How is it to listen to an audio book ? I think I really prefer to read the book (print of ebook) than to listen to a book.

    Have a great weekend!

LOL….what? You already ready for more time off, you just came back from a wonderful honeymoon…lol…I can totally understand it’s rough back at work after weeks off and when you sister is on vacation now, you stuck with replacement. Not always a good thing…I know that feeling, it means you have more work to do than normally. Well I’m looking forward to my two weeks off….two more weeks to work and then relaxing time…I really need it.
Great, so the garden is slowly turning into the thing you want it to be. Before you know it, it will the perfect garden you had in mind. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the grass will be in next year.
Well I haven’t heard of Michelle Sagara either, but then a friend of my read The elemental of Elantra Series and loved it, so she recommended it to me. Of course I had to check it out and read the first two books and loved it. When I have my vacation I’m going to read the next one.
LOL…I had that problem too in the beginning….requesting too much books on NetGalley and those release dates were close to each other. I almost run out of time to read all those book. That is not going to happen again. I try to request the books more less now. I don’t want to read only review books, but my own too.
I have Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep too and put it straight on the TBR pile. LOL…I really need to see which book I’m going to read when…LOL…

That is great news…good job, so you will have your first publisher sponsored giveaway on your blog. Let me know when that is going to be and I’ll be around.

I was happy to see that you enjoyed Unraveled. I read the first one when it came out and have had Unraveled since it came out also, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. The first one was great, I have no idea why I've been procrastinating. Probably because my TBR list is crazy huge. Anyway you've inspired me to try to get to it soon, thanks! :)

    Hiya,

My summer so far is nice, the weather here isn’t great, lots of clouds and rain. But they gave better weather for the next couple of days, so I’m hoping for a great weekend. After this weekend I have to work for three more weeks and then two weeks off…oh yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to that…just relax and catch up with my reading.

I’m glad to hear you guys are settle in and that everything is done. I know the last few months were hectic. I’ve read all your trip adventures and saw the pictures…I can tell you guys had a great time visiting Europe. Yeah, it would have been great to see you here, but maybe just maybe it will happen someday.

So you guys already working on the new plan, first the frond yard and then repainting and replacing. Well I can tell you the work will never be done...LOL…I always find new things to rebuild or replace…Keep me posted on the work progress.

Hmmmmm…I think I have to check out this novel by Jennifer Sommersby. I’ve heard of her before, but never read anything by her. And if you say it’s great, then I know I will too…LOL…
What have I been reading lately…the last book in that firefighters series by Jo Davis, great novel and a great ending to the series. I’ve also read Navarro’s promise by Lora Leigh (I so love the breed series), the first two books in the Elantra Series by Michelle Sagara (fabulous series, so I’ve got a new addiction).

No, I haven’t read the Elemental Assassins series yet by Jennifer Estep. It is still on my TBR pile and I really hope to start this series soon. I’ve read the excerpt of Touch of Front and I have to say it’s very interesting. So I think I’m going to get that one real soon too.

I’ve missed you too and we definitely catch up whenever we can. I know you were busy with the wedding, your trip and now the house works. But we will get back on track to stay in touch. We always do. I have something to tell you, but I’m going to do that in an e-mail, not really a topic for this forum…LOL…I’ve already told Kelly and I consider you one of my closes friend too…so news will be coming your way too….LOL…
