I just started Cindy Gerard's Bodyguards series...I just couldn't help myself...thinking of girls in danger with hot bodyguards made me very curious *giggles* School? well...when I ignore it it's going well LMAO...no, it's ok, really... Just 3 more weeks and then I'll get my 2 weeks of vacation and I'll be with Mom and Dad *squees*how's job? and how are you?
I have an Aunt like that, she is there for me whenever I need her, helping me with things in everyway she can and she knows she can count on me when she needs me. I think because of the bad relationship I have with my mother, the bond with her became closer and closer. Especially when my father died (she is his sister), she is the only one left of that sight of the family, so the bond between us is really tight.OMG, he said that…that she isn’t mad at him anymore because she needs work done this weekend…oh dear goodness, that woman is crazy. And yeah you’re right Jeremy does see it and you’re right again when you said to go only one day, especially when you already in town that day. I really think that is a good idea, just to plan a whole weekend, so he cannot cancel his plans and go work for her. Well is there something you guys both love to do or go, maybe you can plan something like that. Of course our mothers are not going to change, they don’t know any better. They been that all there live and nothing will change that, not even drifting away their children. I think our mothers don’t see us as adults, but still as their little children, so they can still interfere and arrange things in our life. But hey, we don’t want that...so back off…Don’t get me wrong, she is my mother and I love her for it, but that is it. I don’t feel the mother-daughter bond everyone is talking about. I just see a woman who needs helps sometimes and can complain a lot, but that is it.Euh, you’re mother flipped because you bought 2 shirts from your own money….she needs to back off…I would get angry about that too…especially with her history and bankruptcy. I totally agree with you on “if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all”.No, I don’t think that is much to ask of a child form his parents that they just told them an occasionally that they love them, even though it was his step dad. As a child you want to feel loved and secure and if the parents cannot give that, it will hurt the child. Why even bother to take kids then…that is why I’m glad his Aunt was there to give that to him.I can understand Jeremy’s point of view that he is hoping the relationship between his mother and him will approve now he is doing all those jobs and for his sake I hope that will happen. But I think you’re right, I don’t see that happen either, not after everything you told me.Don’t worry about the kindle and going international. I will check it out when I’m ready and whatever I decide I know it will be a good choice…LOL…I’ll keep you posted.I’ve finished A bite to remember by Sands last night and I have to say this series is definitely worth to read. I love the funny parts in the books, it will keep you smiling all the way through. The next book I’m going to read is Queen of songs and souls by C.L. Wilson, so I will start with that one tonight.What are you going to read after Anita Blake ? Another one or something else ?
Camping = no toilets, no running water not for me !! Camping for me is a motel 6.. sounds snotty but there it is ...I personally think that some authors should be chained to their computers & giving snacks for good behavior ! The possibility of them having a life is very very remote until after the novel is published lol.. harsh I know lolI wish I wasn't that bad either.. really.. My friend asked me tonight if I wanted to ride up to the mountains this weekend to pick up her daughter. I kept thinking "Would it be impolite to ask if I can bring a book? Because I am missing good read time on Saturday. " That was a smack the forehead moment lolBut people really worry about that stuff.. I read somewhere that people will bounce a check before they will be late on their morgage ! Crazy !My friend Nicole is great .. Just like your sister, she stuff like that.. She grabs stuff I wouldn't look at normally & make me try it on lol.. I am Type I diabetic now. The meds I take do not work well with alcohol.. I get sick to my stomach.. Aversion therapy of the best kind lol.. To be honest, they don't work well with much ! lol There is an Irish bar near where I live.. I loved that place ! the food was great (all Irish !) Throw in a few pints of Guiness. ahhhhhYour sister is funny !!! I ought to walk over to him and say "Excuse me, I have some stuff that needs to get laid, could you help me with that?" or is that a touch too forward? lol

Pfffff….what great friends being upset because he wasn’t there to help them. Jeez, you’re going to wonder if they can survive in this world if Jeremy isn’t around to do things. But you totally right, calling the day of…so he can help is too late. If you know you need help with some stuff you can call before that and ask if he has time to do it. Okay emergencies, you cannot help that.Well it doesn’t matter that his uncle only been in the family for 5 years. Sometimes you know from the start if this is a good guy, who you can rely on when you need him or you see that he is a bad guy and could probably do without.Well I applause for you for keeping yourself from choking her. I would already done that. Of course everyone understand she has a hard time dealing with her husbands death, but she cannot use that as an excuses all the time. She is not the only one who struggles with grief and pain. I have to be honest I don’t think the situation will get better, even if her grieving is over. What I’ve heard she is just that way and she will always try to get Jeremy do things for her, till she finds someone else to do that stuff.Wow, it’s seems I’m not the only one who hasn’t a great relationship with her mother. I have the same problem as you do, I have a huge fight a couple of years ago and I broke all contact at that time. But then my father was diagnose with cancer, and I wanted to be around him a lot, so I accept her back in my life, but the relationship was not good anymore. She has a way of being negative towards me or judge me of how I’m handle my life. For goodness sack, I’m a grown woman, let me deal with my own life. So I’m doing what you do, ignoring her and only be around her when I’m at my sister or my brother, but I don’t visit her at all.How can you turn you back on your own child when you re-marry someone else, I don’t get that. He is your flesh and blood. But I’m glad to hear that he was raised my his aunt and had a normal life and was loved. If my mother did that to me, I would have turn my back on her, even when her husband died. She let him down, so he should feel responsible to take care of her now. But I know it is easy for us to say, Jeremy will see that from another point of view. Yeah, that is why I want to take time to make my choice for the e-reader. I’ve heard a lot about the Kindle and I’ve heard a lot about the Sony e-reader. I have to look if I can get them here in the Netherlands or that I have to order it in the US. If I can only order it in the US, I will wait and buy the thing when I’m coming over next year. It really is nice to look forward to…more space and only carry one thing with more books on it…LOL…I will always buy paperback books, because I love the feeling of a book in my hands. So I probably do both.Don’t you worry, take your time with Incubus dreams. You will finish it when you have the time. Yes, you should definitely read the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, they are awesome. I’ve read those books and love them. I cannot wait for the next novel to come out.

I totally understand he felt better after getting the wheeler out of the ravine. But nice friends he got…always rely on him when they need him, but when he ask a favour back, they cannot come. He should reconsider to help them next time. But thank goodness his uncle helped him, because he couldn’t do it by himself.Oh dear goodness, I would go crazy of Jeremy’s mother. I know what you mean, I have the same problem. But at least we are trying not the judge the book by the cover, but sometimes its hard…I know…OH no…I’m glad to hear Jeremy is alright after he wrecked his 4 wheeler. Thank goodness only the car has damage and not injuries for Jeremy. Okay it isn’t fun, but I always say better the car than the person. My weekend was good. Saturday I went shopping for paint with my Aunt, she wants to redecorate her living room, so we went to the store to see what kind of colours she liked. I’ve finished Blood noir on Saturday night, so that was good…only 1 more Anita book left….On Sunday I did the normal stuff, laundry, some house jobs, behind the computer and of course reading. Nope we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the Netherlands. I think that is typical for the US. You don’t have to apologize for not knowing about other cultures and countries. I don’t know every holiday of the US, of course I know some of them, but definitely not all. Good luck with the dinner on Thursay and you new recipe for cranberries gel thingy. I'm like 2/3rds into Halfway to the Grave. Seriously, I may say this about other characters (like V or like Shade) but I TRULY am in love with Bones. He's...unexplainably sexy. Everything about him! Physically he's not the type of "guy" I'd normally be attracted to but the whole package is irresistible regardless. I haven't read that infamous chappie everyone talks about, I think it's in the second book if I'm not mistaken... What are you on now? (lol sounds like I'm talking 'bout drugs).
