*When I find an author I like, I want to own everything they have ever written
*I LOVE books with rough cut pages. I have been known to buy books without knowing anything about them, just because they have rough... more »

    Hi!

The Minneapolis-St.Paul-Minnesota Group recently hit 100 members, so we're kicking off a 100-Member Celebration! Details are available on the group site. Hint: It involves a drawing for some gift certificates, and participation is required in order to be eligible for the drawing :-) Come celebrate with us!

Also, we've announced that our summer group read will be Leif Enger's newest book: So Brave, Young and Handsome. I'm reading this book right now and will have the discussion thread up by next week. The thread will be available for discussion this entire summer.

    Hi Aimee,

If you are receiving this note, then you are a member of the Minneapolis-St.Paul-Minnesota Group. I just wanted to let our group members know that the discussion thread for the April/May 2009 Group Read – Growing An Inch by Stanley Gordon West (set in St. Paul) – has been posted. I just finished this book myself. I enjoyed it thoroughly and am looking forward to the group discussion. I hope you are able to join us.

Also, we are currently voting for our next group read – which will be for the June-July-August timeframe. Please stop by and vote for your preferred books for the group read by Saturday, April 25.

P.S. I see that you've read the first book in the Pink Carnation series and have the others on your wishlist. I hope you are able to get to the rest of the series soon. I've read them all except the latest, and it's such a fun series :-)
