Hi everyone! Welcome to my profile!

My profile pic is Rory Williams and Amy Pond from Doctor Who because they have got to be the cutest couple in the world. :)

I'm a 17 year old girl who really loves books, especially fiction about mythical creatures. I LOVE vampyres (NOT Twilight), fairies, mermaids, etc. Also love comic... more »

This book is very good, and I recommend it, but in my opinion, it didn't really need to exist. In my opinion, what made the first one so good was the fact that we didn't really know when or where it really took place, and the fact that we don't know what caused that terrible event that took Green's family. It was heart - wrenching because of the ambiguity and the fact that the disaster could've been anything, could have happened anywhere and to anyone, we could relate to what Green was going through. This book, while still very good, kind of destroys that ambiguity, telling who it was, why they did it, and what they plan on doing.
But it is still very good and very well - written, like all Alice Hoffman books. It introduces some very interesting characters and pulls you into the story, so I say read it, if you really want to know what happened.

It's very sad, but very excellently written. It's not a real pick-me-up, but very good.

Normally when I read a book, it's pretty much locked in my head and I could easily tell you what it was about in some general way. With this book, that is not the case. It could be that it wasn't very interesting, so I wasn't paying all that much attention or it could be that from what I can remember, all it seemed like was a self-help book told in fiction form with a story and characters. It's alright, but I wouldn't say it was a read over and over again.

This was a good book, but it was kind of confusing.

I didn't finish it, I'll be honest, I just got bored with it. I was in the 700s and just got bored and didn't bother.

Real whirlwind. I could barely put it down, and if I did, I picked it right back up.

Very creepy, like most of King's novels. Seriously, who would such a mean thing like what those two did to Carrie?
