When I was a child, I thought that my mother was My Private Book Goddess – I asked her „Please, tell me what to read” and she always suggested something wonderful. Today... well – we ask each other.

So what did you think of Gone Girl? Did I accurately describe it for you?

I have the same issue with "famous" books and usually I am somewhat disappointed. I have completely stayed away from shades of gray. I will comment that I do not read many mysterys so I am not an expert on the genre and it certainly would not make the 10001 list. It was an easy, entertaining, fast read and I needed a break from Arabian Nights. :)

I envy my daughter a bit too. I have never been to Europe so I am living vicariously through her. She has enjoyed how friendly the people are and how much pride they take in their city. She is loving the combination of learning the history of the towns she has stopped in along with meeting people from the town. We have some great sea towns in the U.S. although nothing compares history wise. I know what you mean though about sea towns having their own character.

My daughter is currently touring the baltic while studying the economic history of the area with her college. She has been to Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia and Latvia so far. I was chatting with her this morning and she said her favorite stop so far has been in Gdansk. They are staying in a new town or city almost every day or two days. How does Gdansk compare to Poznan?

Your cat is beautiful, I am not actually interested in knitting and clothes making etc but for those who are it looks like an extremely well written, clear blog. You make some beautiful clothes.
I would be unable to do this due to my disabilities but it is common courtesy to check out a fellow bloggers site when they follow your own, I wish you every success with it.

    Hi Aga,
I looked at your blog, translated into English by Google. I looked very good but Polish to English as a direct translation doesn't work very well so I found it very difficult to read a post.
