  • IS NO NOT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU

    IS NO NOT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU

    by Angelia Vernon Menchan
    • Rated 5 stars

    Is No Not Clear Enough For You is an excellent book written by Angelia Menchan and
    published by M.A.M.M. Productions. The layout was phenomenal and the cover designed
    was very eye catching. I think the title that Angelia chose for her book, Is No Not Clear
    Enough For You, speaks for itself and everyone can relate to. It is a title and statement that
    alot of folks, particularly women say to their child(ren) or students.

    I really enjoyed reading, Is No Not Clear Enough For You and I highly recommend this book.

    It is definitely a book that you want to have apart of your collection! Congratulations on an
    excellent job well done! Thank you for sharing this book with me! Stay blessed~

  • I Ain't Ascared of Nutin'. The Evolution of Me.
    • Rated 5 stars

    I Ain’t Ascared of Nutin’… The Evolution of Me was written by Kyndall Brown and published by Buddafly Books. Kyndall's first debut book of poetry is very well written from beginning to end and Kyndall speaks straight from the heart. Kyndall's writing style for a young lady is remarkable and very inspirational for others both young and old. I Ain’t Ascared of Nutin’… The Evolution of Me consists of 64 pages and focuses on various subjects such as politics, friendships, relationships, life and beauty. I think that Kyndall did an excellent job composing a wonderful book of poetry. Some of my favorite poems that are published in I Ain’t Ascared of Nutin’… The Evolution of Me include I Ain’t Ascared of Nutin’… The Evolution of Me, War, Butterflies, Can You Live in My Dreams, I will Succeed, Friendship and Nothing Can Hold Me Back. With each of these poems, Kyndall's sense of vision, imagery and composition is very uplifting. I only wish that her first debut book of poetry, I Ain’t Ascared of Nutin’… The Evolution of Me, was longer. Other than that, excellent job! Congratulations on your journey! Stay blessed and look forward to reading your next book! Five Stars Rating Reviewed by Afrika Midnight Asha Abney

    My Soul It Knows His Mercies

    by Nefertari Imani Baraka
    • Rated 5 stars

    My Soul It Knows His Mercies is a Christian poetry book written by Nefertari Imani Baraka and published by Strategic Publishing
    Group. It consists of 57 pages and focuses on various subjects. I think anyone who needs spiritual upliftment or elevation, should
    read Nefertari's poetry book. Her style is very different and the messages that are within the context of poetry book are very
    essential for maintaining a spiritual lifestyle.

    My Soul It Knows His Mercies is divided into five sections which include:
    - Testifying;
    - Praises and Prayers;
    - In The Spirit;
    - Answered Prayers; and
    - Wisdom.

    To me, I think, My Soul It Knows His Mercies, is Nefertari's legacy to the world in form of a spiritual bible.

    Congratulations on a job well done!

  • The Magic Violin
    • Rated 5 stars

    The Magic Violin is a wonderful christmas story that is encouraging for all children. Sometimes, children do want to feel like that they want to explore and try something different and when they do not accomplish what they want they want to quit and proceed with learning something totally different. However, the key is believing in yourself and having faith in what you are trying to accomplish. I think that Mayri did an excellent job depicting these standard everyday beliefs that not only children experience, but everyone experience. Sometimes, we believe that it is something magical that came over us, but when in the very essence it is believing in what we are doing that is the magical essence. • Rated 4 stars

    Wisdom for the Soul of Black Folk Review Wisdom for the Soul of Black Folk is an anthology that was recently released by Gnosophia Publishers. The anthology provides an excellent collection of quotations from various authors throughout the Diaspora. My personal favorites for the quotations that are within the context of the anthology are listed under the following titles where the quotations are inserted include: IMAGINATION, HUMOR/LAUGHTER, IDENTITY, IDEA/OPINION, JOURNEY/PATH, LEARNING, LEGACY, LIBERATION/LIBERTY/FREEDOM, LISTENING, MEANING, MEANS, MEDITATION, MEMORY, MIND, ONENESS/UNITY/WHOLENESS, OPPORTUNITY, PARTNERSHIP/MARRIAGE, PASSION, PATIENCE, PERSPECTIVE, POWER, REALITY, RELATIONSHIP, RESPECT, SKILL/TALENT/RESOURCE,SPIRITUALITY,STRENGTH, SUCCESS, VALUE/WORTH,WEALTH/PROSPERITY, and WISDOM. Based on all of the quotations that are provided with the context of the anthology, Wisdom for the Soul of Black Folk, it clearly shows the readers that there was a lot of research conducted. However there was only slight typo, but other than that the anthology was very well thought out. Congratulations! Four Stars Rating Reviewed by Afrika Midnight Asha Abney

    How To Make Big Bucks Without Selling Your Soul is an excellent guide book that was published by Spiritual Focus Publishing in 2005 and written by Georgia Woodbine. It was very easy to read from beginning to end. It offers some valuable common sense tips and advice that could be used through everyday life. I think that it also serves as an excellent handbook for anyone who gets de-motivated or lose hope, this book can indeed lift you up on all levels. The Time is Wright: A Crime Novel

    by Orean D. Chatman
    • Rated 3 stars

    Orean D.Chatman's first debut novel, The Time is Wright was published by Virtualbookworm.com Publishing and consists of 256 pages. I think was drew me to reading his first debut was the cover and the title both were very eye catching. However, after reading his novel, I felt that the story was too slow for me and that the plot should have developed more and the characters should be depicted in a more concise way.
