Proper words do not exist to describe Coelho's brilliant novel. I only wish I could read it in the original language. An incredible, insightful novel that will always top my list of favourites. It's one that travels with me when ever I move.

Another one that tops my list of all time favourites. Once in a while a novel comes along that touches the very core of your being, changing and inspiring you. This is one of them. Don't be fooled by it's small size, or fact it's often labelled a child's story. Le Petit Prince is enlightening and highly enjoyable at any age. If you can't read in French, find the English translation!

An essential read for anyone interested in the Arthurian legend. I think Ms. Charles (Gr 12 Quest Lit) for introducing me to this gem. Interesting facts: Book One (The Sword and the Stone) is the basis for the Disney movie of the same name. Elton John's song about Norma Jean/Marilyn Monroe & then Princess Lady Di takes it's name from the title of Book Four (The Candle in the Wind).

Amazing. Simply amazing. Kinsella's style is simple yet poignent; some parts gave me goose bumps. I don't think I can rave enough about this one! Ignore the movie and read the novel!

Found this one a bit difficult to get through (which might have had to do with my age at the time, and that it was an English class ISU novel) but the ending made it all worth while. What can I say, I enjoy mysteries and the denoument! :)
