I don't usually read this style of book. It seems so shallow. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Who I thought Tori was, prior to reading the book, is not at all who it turns out she truly is. I gained a new found respect for her and a felt sad to hear of her relationship with her mother.

Excellent read. Abraham Lincoln is one of the figures in history that I would most want to meet. I enjoyed hearing about his personal life, his family and the knowledge I collected. Lots of trivia here!

I neither deny or belief the existance of ghosts. However, with that being said, I more believe in them, than deny them. I read this book because my grandfather was dying. He was living in my home and in hospice at the time. The book left me startled as I watched so much of what James Van Praagh claimes happens to a person when they are dying and are dead. If I wasn't a believer in ghosts before, I am a bit more of a believer after having read this book. Great read.

I am a new mommy. I've only been a mommy for a little over a year. I had neve planned on having children or getting married for that matter. Life took it's course and here I am going to the library getting books on how to potty train, how to be a better mommy, how to dicipline my child and the best nutrition for a little one. Of course I had to get this one, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success for Parents," by Deepak Chopra being he is one of my favorite authors.

Sometimes when I am enjoying a boook and I can see there is a lot to learn from it, I speed through it making mental notes of what I need to remember and what I need to do. I am so excited to find something so informative I can't put the book down and my speed reading makes me forget everything I learned. Alas I find myself re reading it. THIS is one of those books. So much to learn from. So many great tips.

It reminds us how blessed we are to have our children. How we must respect them and love them and the importance of how to dicipline them with both love and respect. There is much more to learn but this was my favorite part.

Would I recommend this book? Sure would. But if you aren't a very spiritual person and like logic and straight to the point stuff, you might not enjoy this one so much. It's worth a shot though.

I heard about this book on Oprah. (I watch her faithfully as she is one of the women I most admire). In Oprah's interview with the author, she came off as a easy going, fun- loving woman.

I heard her talk of her travels and my stomach groweled at me as if to remind me that I have not lived my dream of traveling to far away places. I respected how she picked up and left her life to fulfill her dreams and to find herself. Her "true" self. I've been there. Not picking up and leaving, but rather searching for my true self. I heard her description of what matters to her and why it is she wrote the book. From that moment on I wanted to get my hands on the book.

I had read some reviews on it and heard from a few friends that it wasn't what they had expected. They didn't like it or dislike it, but it didn't well..."move" them. Maybe it was these negative reviews that prevented me from reading it. The fantasy of what I thought it was, was better than the disappointment of reading it.

I wish I hadn't listened to my friendly critics. I got the book (or should I say the audio book), this week and I couldn't put it down. I wish I had read it sooner. I could read and reread this book. It's THAT good. I just loved how she expressed herself, the comparisons, sarcasm, humor, love and fear she expressed.

Could it be the audio version where I can hear her inflictions, charm and laughter is more enticing than the book? I don't know. I can only say I highly recommend this book and hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

She writes beautifully. Drew me in right away and kept my attention all along. It is a story of a woman, her adventures, fears, passions, and everyhing else that makes us human. She is very sincere. Candid. I could appreciate her more and more as the chapters passed on.

    5 Stars.

I don't recall if this was a school read or if it was something that captured my imagination and I decided to pick it up and read it on my own. I loved everything about it.

This book was wonderful. It took me into china. Into an era I have not lived and allowed me to be a part of every day life. The story line is beautiful and the ending is just as sweet. Pulitzer Prize winner

This book was excellent. A little dragged out but not enough to say it was not a good book. I did enjoy it even though I found myself very disturbed by it. It made me think of these poor kids this happens to in real life.

It is a book about children that have been adducted and sexually molested and the story of the detective trying to find the crimminal.

    I give this book 3 1/2 stars
