Good lord, I had no idea I had so much lined up "to read" on my shelves until I started digging through my books to put them on here.
I've always told people my tastes are capricious and downright weird at times - this should prove it. My bookshelf is a crazy mix, made worse - or better - by the fact that it's useless my bothering to sort them in any fashion - I tend to read 10 things at a time, so they scatter all over the house five minutes after I've arranged them again.
You'll see a very large collection of children's fiction - I've always had a great fondness for children's books, possibly because so many of them were responsible for giving me the love of reading. In my opinion, too many people never look back at what they grew up on, and miss out on not only enjoying again and again perfectly good stories, but seeing them from completely different viewpoints after some years have passed.
Other than that, there's not much to say. I avoid most romances, I have an addiction to finding old or unusual books (such as the medieval housekeeping book I once found a copy of online), I stray into mystery, fantasy, and some sci-fi, I haven't found any horror authors that have impressed me enough to keep reading them...
And as it's currently nearly 2AM, that's enough about me.
