I'm a fantasy junky! Kinda a slow reader I think, love to escape into a good book, but here lately I haven't been to read as much : (
Love a good novel here and their bio's, wanna start reading some science fiction, a little horror. I love the scary stories books when I was like 13.

My friends know my taste pretty well and they usually warn me if a book has that kind of stuff. They didn't warn me this time. I read thru the first one but by the second more graphic scene that involved tying the girl up and stuff...I freaked and closed the book.

wow did you know shelfari has a word filter in here? I typed a word that means the same as "tying up" and the filter wouldn't let me write it....

I am reading The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane and so far I am really liking this one!

I would pay Hastings to be able to work at Hastings LOL!!

I saw you were asking about The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo...nobody warned me and I got totally shocked by the rape and rough sex scenes in that book. I only made it halfway so I advise caution to anyone wanting to read it.

I used to volunteer at libraries and loved advising patrons on what they might like next. I got to know them and was really pretty good at it. I read a little of so mnay kinds of books. I dislike strictly romance because I spent 3 weeks in isloation in ICU years ago and anything that came in had to be burned. Friends brought in bags of those harlequin romance novels...I was so bored LOL! I read kid's books because of all my grandkids and neohews. I homeschooled all my kids years ago so I have read a lot. I am slowly getting them listed on my shelf.
