    I am a born again Christian, and used to have software as a hobby in the days when mainframes were the only computers around. I used to write programs for a multi-national (for a friend who worked in their IT department). He gave me software assignments (which I wanted to do as a hobbyist) and I taught him to appreciate poetry (which was what he wanted to be developed in).

    I'm fascinated that you are working in Poland, and your name sounds Polish to me. But you write like an American.

    I think you're library is a stimulating collection. I wish I could get back to reading (and understanding) software books, but these days I don't have time to indulge in that hobby, so that's the part of your library where I enjoyed looking at the titles but won't do anything more than that about it.

    The Christian books are very interesting. I hope you'll find mine stimulating too. I noticed a two books in common so far (God's Generals, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), but then I haven't put up my entire library yet.

    I noticed Asimov (The Robots of Dawn) in your collection. Asimov is one of the authors I enjoyed reading. Another is Arthur C. Clarke.

    Hello Adam,

    I have put my trip to Ukraine on hold. My Missionary friend in Romania says that the Romanians think Russia is going to invade Ukraine and Romania too like they did Georgia. I heard there is some tension with Russia and Poland also. How serious do you think THAT is?

    Planuję w najbliższym czasie rozpocząć moją przygodę z Pratchettem :) Tylko nie wiem od jakiej książki zacząć :S Chciałabym też pogłębić moją znajomość z książkami Christophera Moore'a :)

    A duża część z reszty Twoich książek jest bardzo specjalistycznych i nic z nich nie zrozumiem ;)

    A propos - użytkownicy serwisu BiblioNETka z Bydgoszczy, Torunia i okolic spotykają się raz w miesiącu, żeby pogadać o książkach, podzielić się znaleziskami, pożyczać sobie wzajemnie różności. Jeżeli chcesz (chcecie) dołączyć - wygląda na to, że najbliższe spotkanie odbędzie się w ostatni weekend sierpnia, prawdopodobnie w Toruniu (wszystko jest aktualnie ustalane).
