I read everything and anythin. I just started on my shelf. While I enjoy Vonnegut very much he is a very small part. I immedeatly purchase and ead anything by the following. Christopher Moore, C.D. Payne, Douglas Adams, Michael Chabon, Jasper Fforde, Kathy Acker and many many more. My wife and I spend way to much money on books. Keep an I on my shelf as i will be putting more on.

Hmm. You kow books are so formative to my imagination. I very much feel drawn to stories of journeys and, just as much, to time travel. Guess that's why Doctor Who always seemed a perfect fit to me. One book I've been wanting to read is the Time Traveller's Wife. At least I think that's the right title.

Hi again. I was wondering if you watched any of the new Dctor Who. I think it's wonderful. I keep up with my Brit shows and was wathing the annual charity show Children In Need. It's common for all the TV celebrities to do a little skit to help raise money. Very commendable. Anyway, one of the highlights was a Doctor Who short of David Tennant's Doctor meeting Peter Davidson's Doctor. Thought it was cool.

Yeah. Even better was the 70's TV show "The Vital Spark" Wow that brings back memories. So what's your favourite Doctor? Usually it's the one people grew up with so I'm split between Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker.
Also remember Chocky from your shelf but it was the kids TV show I watched.

Hello. And thanks for adding me. Yeah I unashamedly love Dr Who and have done since I was wee. Remember my big box of every novelization of each televized story and I would be glued to the TV every Saturday. I have however, never read any of the newer books with standalone stories. Any recommendations? You'll have to tell me more about Gallifrey 08, I'm unfamiliar. But I have been to Comicon in San Diego for the last 2 years. Does that make me a geek (McGeek?) Oh, one last thing. You've read Para Handy. I only remember the stories of the Vital Spark from my parents but with much fondness. Did you enjoy?

Caught my attention to see that you're a Doctor Who fan and then I look at you're shelf and see the book I'm about to start reading, Poul Anderson's The Corridors of Time.
Well I thought it was a cool coincidence.

I really don't think you need Genre recommendations from me, we've both read a number of the classics and know what's out there. As far as recommendations I've got to suggest "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom. (I'm suggesting this more based knowing you then your book list). Also, Cliff Stoll's "The Cuckoo's Egg" is mostly a crime thriller; the tech, what little of it there is approachable to everyone.
