  Amazon effectively just obtained this site to use our user generated book info pages (for use on Kindles)~all of the character information, the settings stuff. We've got to be about a year into the official Amazon take over (when they added the amazon.com at the top and amazon sign in junk). Before that year Amazon.com still had a large stake in Shelfari as a result of allowing Shelfari to use their book catalog to power the website. Over the years I've been on here I can tell you Shelfari used to be leagues better than this as far as numbers of new members and genuine customer service.
