“Its a nice, easy read- one that would get you back to your reading habits. Its set against the backdrop of Mahabharatha, though it has portions that are fictional. It views the epic through the eyes of Draupadi- the Paandava princess.
It seems at places that there is a deliberate attempt to give it a feminine (sexist) touch (the fictional part) and one can easily identify such moments. Overall, an easy read if you wanna re-visit this grand epic- just cut through some of the sexism and you will enjoy.”
