Born in Savannah, Georgia (USA) apparently it seems to read, write, love, grow, create in multiple disciplines and to live my soul to the fullest, though not necessarily in the order just given. To date I've written one novel, four volumes of poetry, one Encyclopedia of the Harlem Renaissance, one memoir and one mini-biography on the historian and human rights activist W.E.B. Du Bois. Also established two important websites: Creative Thinkers International (2007) and The 100th Anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance (2012).

My newest books are: "The River of Winged Dreams"; "ELEMENTAL: The Power of Illuminated Love," featuring the art of Luther E. Vann and poetry by me; the memoir "The American Poet Who Went Home Again"; and the novel "Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World."
