Hi Alan. I just discovered Shelfari and saw that you had my book, Paragon: The Propagation listed on your shelf. Thanks for adding it and I hope you enjoyed it. The sequel The Dark Sha, is in editing now and will hopefully be released within the next month or two.

Star Quest was written in 1977 in long hand. It was then typed on a Smith Corona electric type writer. When Smith Corona came out with a word processor it was typed into digital format and put on a single sided disk. Later, when the first personal computers came into being the manuscript was scanned using Optical Character Recognition. OCR was in its infancy and there were numerous recognition mistakes. It was then converted to Ami Pro format. Later to Word Perfect format. Then yet later to all the versions of Microsoft Word to the final version in Word 2013. So it has come a long way to be on your shelf.
In the plot I attempted to offer a solution to the mystery of extra terrestrials and ancient monuments built with technology beyond the ability of the civilizations in the time period they were built. There are many plots and plot twist. Yes, it is a bit campy but it is in concert with the genre of science fiction at the time it was written.
I have written many manuscripts and haven't sought to publish them until this year. If you are a science fiction fan I hope you find Star Quest to your liking. Thank you for adding it to your shelf.
