“Well written, great characters, nice pacing and plenty of action. Order of the Seers turned out very different than I'd imagined when I began reading it. From beginning to end it heard my attention. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Bravo Cerece Rennie Murphy, bravo.”

“Secrets Will Kill
This was a great follow up. I am not sure if there will be a next part but with the sudden ending, it does seem likely. I would love to see what happens now as it was a little more clean cut than I would like. We see friends lives turned upside down. The loss of David Jr. has turned everyone’s world upside down. Jada is stuck and can't move on. She spends her days at work and home mourning David Jr. When she finds out that her perfect world is not what she thought will she be able to handle the truth?
Toni has moved on from the love of her life Benjamin. But Benjamin is released from prison after serving seven years and still loves Toni. We read a host of emotions as the former lovers know they still love each other but there is this little thing in the way. Oh yeah, Toni is married with a son and her husband Darian adores her. Darian knows the history between Toni and Benjamin and loves his wife just the same.
Add in some more characters that were pivotal to the story and keep it moving forward makes an interesting read. David Sr. Is lost without his only son. He looks to Jada and his grandkids to keep his life from becoming a big black hole. He was my least favorite character as he has a lot of stuff with him. Vince is a former lover of Toni’s and best friend of her current husband. I felt bad for him as he deals with the deception of a cheating spouse Gina who is a reporter. It was amazing how everybody's life intertwined even in the most indirect way. In the end it all came together and makes for some good reading. These characters each had their own issue while dealing with the secrets of David Jr’s past affected them all in one way or another.
I do hope there is a part three as the ending was very abrupt and should have some type of repercussion behind it. I need to see how this is going to play out. I know this is fiction and all but the ending was so left field. Not sure if I enjoyed it or not but it worked I will say that.
