The denial was based on the name " Gunnar Blom: Published the first edition in 1969. The third edition of this book is translated into English as "Probability and Statistics: Theory and Applications". That is an invalid name. You could have put everything following the colon in the text box below the name. As written, however, the system would have created a new author record with that whole sentence as the "name" of the contributor.

When we deny a primary contributor change, the system automatically denies all the change including non-primary entries.

Does that make sense?

If the content is the same (except for the revisions due to edition changes), it doesn't matter if the edition differs only by translation or ISBN.

I can't tell if you are saying this is a different book altogether or not. Because of the time-zone difference which may delay your seeing and responding to this note, I am going to reject this request.

However, feel free to resubmit if I have misunderstood and post me a note that you've done so. I'll rush right to the queue and approve it if you give me some clarification.
