I love to read - cozy mysteries are my favorites, but I also enjoy romances and romantic suspense. I have a huge TBR mountain, which is almost embarrassing, but I love to read. I'm addicted :) I'm looking forward to meeting other readers and making new friends.

I also have a new review blog at http://socratesbookreviews.blogspot.com/...more »

I'm putting in a book order of cozy mysteries today. Have you read any books written by Deb Baker? One of her books is, Murder Talks Turkey. This is a series of five books. I think. Have you checked out cozylibrary.com ? If you haven't, you need to. It's a great site. They have cats. LOL I thought about you when I saw the books.
A friend of mine, is feeding new born kittens from a medicine dropper. The mother had them on the front porch and will not take care of them. They're about four days old and doing great. One of the kittens is marked up like a Jersy cow. They call her bessy, I hope it's a girl with that name.
I hope you have a good day.

    Hey Yvonne,

I see you have added Barbara Colley to your Books You Plan To Read. Her books are fabulous. Charlotte LaRue is an endearing character. Enjoy!

I'm with you on reading just about everything. Heck, I have found myself reading the fine print on a box of cereal just because it is in front of me at the breakfat table.

    Hi Yvonne,

Thank you for the quick reply. You are the first person to write to me.

Jerrilyn Farmer writes cozy mysteries. Madeline Bean is the main character. She owns a catering/events service.

I think I will enjoy being here at Shelfari. One of the best things I've ever earned in life was how to read. I can remember reading books since I was a little girl in elementary school. I'd rather bury my nose in a good book than just about anything.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and for the warm welcome.

    Hi Yvonne473,

I am new here at Shelfri. I was browsing your shelf and I see we have 40 books in common. I was wondering if you have discovered authors Jerrilyn Farmer and Diane Mott Davidson? They both write culinary mysteries. I alsoenjoy Barbara Colley's books about Charlotte LaRue, a lady who owns a maid service in New Orleans.

    Anyway, nice to meet you.
