Thank you SO MUCH for the interview! I really enjoyed it and have spread the love by passing it onto other friends (who are fans) and some future converts too. I saw him read in London about 7 or 8 years ago on a stormy summer's evening and the memory of the laughter and the tears will stay with me for a long time to come. Bravo for your dedication in getting him twice! I'm reading the collection right now on holiday (limiting myself to three or four poems a day) and thoroughly enjoying them greatly.

Speaking of poetry to DIE for, I hope you're aware of this marvellous trilogy of anthologies: http://www.bloodaxebooks.com/titlepage.asp?isbn=1852248092. If you're not, may I have the honour of introducing you? Each volume is a wonder in itself. Enjoy!

Hey Philip, if you haven't come across Billy Collins before, he's a REAL treat! Go and see him read if you get a chance - it's complete entertainment! Nice to kinda meet you. We've got books in common! Rx

You should read "On heroes and tombs" or "The Tunnel" by Ernesto Sábato. You can read "Hopscotch" by Cortazar too. Those are great books.

A lot of people, on shelfari, like to make friends with people that read the same books. Not me. I like to make friends with people that read different than me. The I can talk to you about what you liked about the book before deciding to purchase. Anyway, here is a friendship invite. Skip
