Hi! I'm a little late with my "welcome". December was just so busy! Anyway, I am now (finally) here to welcome you to the Booktivity group. Here's how it works. Every month a category is voted on by our members. Depending what the category is for that month, you just need to find a word in the title that fits the category, read that book, and come back and post a review of it. OR, some months, we'll do something a little different. For January, we are reading books with a word in the title that fits this category: something you could carry in a pocket or purse. Hope you'll join in and have fun!

There is a general explanatio of the group and some answers to FAQ under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES. The past BOTM can be found pinned to the top for 2010 and 2009 if you want to search discussions you can join in. It will bring the discussions forward if you do.
The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. July’s BOTM will be The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. The questions are pinned to the top of the discussion threads.
