Hi,Sorry I haven't been around in a while..."Real life" kinda had me a lil' down.NO worries though! I'm on my way back up!Promise to be a better "book buddy" (lol!) ;o)Have a GREAT weekend!Wicked HugZ!
More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.
TattoomommyThank you for accepting my friend request. I see that you too are an Anne Rice fan. She is sooo good.xoMaggie MarrSecrets of The Hollywood Girls Club (April 2008)Hollywood Girls Club (April 2007 Paperback Now!)
Dear Tattoomommy: Just what kind of crap does your husband have to put up with? Congrats on the family. I have three myself, twins 9 and an eleven year old teenager. I am having my debut novel published in April. They're all completely oblivious to it. It is called HUNTING THE KING, and I hope you'll be on the lookout for it.HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon." While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites. You won't be disappointed. To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks.Peter
The March group read for the Dean Koontz group will be "Watchers". Our April group read will be "The Good Guy". We hope you can join us!
I read an Erin McCarthy book, My Imortal... I gave it 3 to 3.5 stars. I really only picked the book up because we have the same first name.... Anyway, I see you liked her trilogy. I'm going to Half-Price books this weekend and was wondering if you suggest one of Erin McCarthy's or the one by Susan Sizemore.... Or really... Which is your MOST favorite?
The February group read in the Dean Koontz group will be "The Husband". I hope you will be able to join us. Also, the voting is up now for our March read. Please stop by and cast your vote!
This is just a reminder to let you know that we will be reading and discussing "The Darkest Evening of the Year" in January in The Dean Koontz group. We hope you can join us!
