The written word is the most powerful means of communication known to man. I have my mom to thank for my love of reading. I think from birth I have had a book in my hand. A wonderful story will draw you into it and let you become a part of it. An author who can make you care about his characters is such a wonderful find, but it's so very hard to do. Books like that engage me and make me wish for more.
