Just finished....the first half of the book is great! It's intense, action packed and suspenseful but halfway through the book changes direction and becomes somewhat mundane. The ending of course is a cliffhanger and became interesting again. I gave the first half of the book five stars and the second half three. Let me know if you want me to be more specific about the story.

hey new follower! :) Check out my blog if you get the chance, slight self promotion. But also we share alot of books in common.. and you are really active in the groups.. I'd love to have someone that active on my blog :) http://thepassionatebookworm.blogspot.com . oh side note comment on the Chronicles of nick !- I think its more enjoyable to people who have read the Dark Hunter series first :) its Sherrilyn kenyon's Paranormal romance series and I loved it! .. I think she tried to Introduce YA readers to the series with Chronicles of nick.. but unfortunately with the past nick/future nick idea.. it was easier to understand for readers of her adult series. If you don't mind a little bit of romance thrown in I highly suggest it! .. wow I wrote alot...sorry.. happy reading!

Hi,Theresa, just a quick note to thank you for persevering with the Young Adult Must Read group, though we are not exactly scintilating.i tried for many months to try to get up a bit of enthusiasm in the group, but have found it a bit hard going.I have very limited time so cant do much,so I am grateful for your input, and your intriguing titles, which is why I joined this group,to see what young people are reading.Once again, thanks!

Hi Theresa ... sadly, FOREST doesn't get better. Abandon ship! Save yourself ... one of the worst books I've struggled through all year.
