Hey Raquel! How are you? I'm sorry I'm so late getting back with you :( but I did enjoy the Blood Brother series it was actually the first Nora Roberts I've read and I can see why she has such a following.

I'm reading Shelly Laurenston Magnus Pack Series...they are hot!
The Argeneau Series (Lynsay Sands) it is really funny! Each book is about a family member that meets their soul mate (kind of like Carpathians)...they are very romantic and spicy, but they are hilarious along the way.
I think I'll pass on the Adultery Diet...My ex-husband thought monogamy was a type of wood.....So....I'll just stick to good ole Happily Ever After Books. :D

In a moment of pique and frustration Virginia wrote an open letter to Oprah, and shared it with a few writer friends who are going through the same thing we are. Now the letter has started to go viral--getting a lot of repostings and inclusions in blogs, newsletters and on Facebook, so in case you hadn't seen it, we wanted to share our plight, the plight of many black authors with you, readers who have supported us all these years. http://twomindsfull.blogspot.com.

In reality Oprah is just a metaphor--a name that might get this subject the attention it deserves. Because when you have a publication like Library Journal listing their 31 Best Books of 2009 http://ow.ly/HDU7 and the "genre" fiction list includes Street Lit --8 books but no category for contemporary African American writers, we are really in trouble.

We are trying to encourage diversity in reading--we believe books should be windows, not just mirrors...

Hey Racquel, I'm swell. I hope you're able to say the same. I haven't seen New Moon as of yet. I want to read the book first. With Twilight I saw the movie first then read the book, totally backwards. I get what you're saying about the shorter lines. I'm sure you'll see the mov before me so when you do definitely let me know your thoughts. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

Hi Raquel! My absolute favorite genre is historical romance novels, but I will read just about anything except horror. Between work and school I do not have much time to dedicate to reading. I just started reading the Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. Look forward to exploring your shelf more. I've never read anything by Christine Feehan. I'll have to check her out.

I am doing the same thing as you--waiting to see New Moon until the lines are shorter. I do want to see it, though! I am excited about seeing more of Jacob and the werewolves. I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving, too--long weekends are great!

It varies from week to week, but usually I read a couple. This week I've read 2 so far, Charles Higson - Happy Now and David Kessler - Mercy. I'm around 100 pages into Target by Simon Kernick, which will be my third. If I'm on holiday then I can get through 3 or 4 in a week.

I started keeping a record a few years ago when I got back into reading again.

What are you reading right now?

Hi Raquel, I am doing pretty good. How are you doing? Yes I would say that Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts is a paranormal romance. I really enjoyed reading this one. I actually liked the whole series. I am reading Black Hills by Nora Roberts. So far it is a pretty good book. What are you currently reading?
