Thanks following me. Thanks to you I just learned how to follow people.:) I'm the editor from SmatteringsBooks and want to meet as many readers who also love books to the point they are driven to writing and or producing more great novels to read on a cold and stormy evening.
Yes, Steve you are correct. Actually my writing partner and I have been at this for over ten years. It seems we were "pioneers" with the first book which is still a "new" idea to many who just now discover it. A confirmation for us has been the level of research that has followed over the last ten years - the "connection" is a very hot topic. For us looking at the source of it all (DSM) has been a real eye opener. Puts a lot of things into perspective, especially how ADHD got to level it is. We believe many parents, lay people and even professionals are not aware of the strong controversies currently brewing in the field about the flawed manual. It is our hope to bring them to the public eye. The section in our book about "Why" they are stuck becomes the topic that isn't being addressed. How to help becomes more effective as a result of understanding "Why" they got stuck. Thanks for your interest. Hope you enjoy the book and please do let us know your thoughts!
Hi, Steven. Thanks for following me! I just joined Shelfari and am thrilled to connect with other book lovers. I read your bio and applaud you for chasing your dreams and becoming a novelist. Your book sounds exciting, and it's now "in the queue" on my reading list! Can't wait to start it.
Hi Steven, Just getting started here, so am stumbling about a lot. Of your books, I liked Angels and Demons. I'm starting on a David Morrell novel, The Spy Who Came for Christmas. Looks like his usual good stuff. He'll be at a conference I'm going to in Eureka Springs, AR in October. Can hardly wait.
OK. Your book is really good. how did you make the Library of Congress such an exciting place to visit. I thought I had one of the puzzles solved and was on the right track, and they you threw a curve. On the Historical fiction Review a wrote a short blurp on your book. Looking for the next adventure. It was not run of the mill but creative. Thank you
