    Hi! How have you been?
Have you read "Low Red Moon" by Caitlin R. Kiernan yet?
You might like "The Somnambulist" by Jonathan Barnes, and "Something Rich and Strange" by Patricia McKillip.

Have you read any Mark Millar? I'm going to read "The Good Fairies of New York" soon - looks pretty interesting.
I also found Graham Joyce's "Tooth Fairy" recently - I'd been eyeing it online for awhile but the library here doesn't have it.

I've read Charlie Huston's vampire series and love it! I'm looking forward to the next book.

Thanks for the add. Any particular Cormac McCarthy book sto start with? I have The Road but have yet to read it. I noticed Bret Easton Ellis books on your shelf. Which one is your favorite? I have read all of his and I would have to say my fave is Glamorama.

I'll look up those Huston books. I noticed you like Robert McCammon. I enjoyed "Boy's Life".
I have "House of Leaves" but it's still in my 'to read' stack.
Most of Lawrence Block's books are mysteries - I like his Matthew Scudder series the best. But his collections "Sometimes They Bite" and "Enough Rope" have some of his creepy stories.
When do you expect your novel to be out?

"The Mist" was great. I love many of Stephen King's earlier short stories. "Mrs. Todd's Shortcut" is one of my favorites too. I'm reading a non-fiction book right now for a bookclub I'm in, but I'm starting "Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town" by Cory Doctorow next. I read Charlie Huston's "Caught Stealing" a couple months ago, and was blown away - what an awesome writer. I'm definitely reading more of his books soon. Lawrence Block's short stories in "Sometimes They Bite" are good - have you read that? They're creepy, and most have a twist you don't see coming. What are you reading next?

Just out of curiosity, whatever possessed an urban, vampire-and-noir loving young'un like you to send a friend invitation to a middle-aged Austenite? Is it because of Poe? Or my intention to read Vonnegut (eventually)? I did manage to get through "Carrie" and "Cujo" at your age without wetting my pants, but only just.
