I like to read for fun (and eventually profit as I hope to actually flesh out and finish one of my 80 bajillion novel ideas... get it, novel id--oh nevermind). I like to read for fun (and eventually profit as I hope to actually flesh out and finish one of my 80 bajillion novel ideas... get it, novel id--oh nevermind). You won't find me reading much historical fiction or fine classic literature. As I don't ever want to write in either of those genres, it's hard for me to justify spending much time plodding through a book I'll probably find difficult (and somewhat boring). I like books that include things like: plagues, apocalypsi (the plural of apocalypse?), zombies, vampires, sharks, dinosaurs, medical phenomenon, murder, humor, dating disasters, and, on occasion, books about people helping children/animals.
