Hello SidewellWhat proof that history happened the way it was said?... A verry important question...A question that passed my mind a lot...while I was doing a researsh in a master degree in urban planning..I am an architect...but I was doing a master degree in urban planning about the development of the city of Damascus Syria in the Middle East since the late Ottoman Empire, the nineteen century till our present days...(After the Ottoman Empire comes the French Mandate in Syria then the Independance period) So I had to read a lot of books about history...and i can't tell you how much i found differences between French books english books and arabic books about the same events...and i was always asking myself who is saying the truth or the truth should be some where between all these books...

Sidwell, thanks for your note. Oh, I know you are not K. Reeves, but he is a great actor, so it should be nice to be a look-a-like! You're wise to shop around for good books! As for Toronto, lovely city ~ I visited there in the late 70's as a college student. Will never forget the snow gently falling in the evening. :) Stop by again! :)

Hi, ...you're NOT Keanu ?? Noooo, I swear you were! LOL. I usually go B&N, but I do like to browse the book shelves of antique shops as well when I have a chance. It was at such a shop where I found a hard bound copy of "And the Ladies of the Club" and found Norman Rockwell's autobiography at a second hand book shop. The prices at these types of shops can sometimes be less than at an upscale store. How about you, where do you like to find your books?

Hey, we've visited Toronto and loved it. The author I represent also loves SciFi and writes a series of mystery/adventure novels with a SciFi twist. www.SeedsOfCivilization.comWe try to visit independent bookstores...explore any new one we happen on. We usually buy brand new.
If you like history, perhaps you will like my book that's coming out in about a month. A poetic interpretation of Anne Frank's diary- BEING FRANK WITH ANNE. to be published at www.communitypresshome.com The advance review copy has been requested by four Holocaust museums across the US.

In Star Trek-TNG I liked Picard, Data, No. 1 and in Deep Space Nine I liked the Frengies and Odo. Did not like Voyager at all. I was bummed when I found out too late that a 1996 Star Trek-TNG - First Contact was on scifi. Data had a metal plate over the left side of his head and left eye, Picard was in all black.Dang. i sure hope they repeat it.
