Amen about that! I know so many horrible people that have adopted children. Who just complain and nag the children so much it's heartbreaking!! The reason I was drawn to adoption is because of people like that. Who never stop and think about the children that have no homes, as Human beings only as luggage that they are obligated to tote around to make themselves feel beter. But what about the Children? They need love and a safe place where they can learn to grow up and have a normal life one that will nuture thier creativity and passions. Not one where they can't wait to bust free from with every ounce of thier beings because at every step they find a wall created by the repulsive parents. :( It is so sad how cruel people can be to each other. It really is. :(

I am only 18 years old. I plan to adopt or foster parent. I have not yet gotten started on any process. I am just seeking answers.

Hi!! I am a part of the same book group as you. And I like that you write/read books on adopting. Because I plan to adopt one day. And I have a bunch of questoins. like do they allow singles parents to adopt? and how old do you have to be before you'll be taken seriously?
