Shelley is the co-author of The Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood, Beyond Beautiful Girlhood Plus Companion Guide, and The Three Weavers Plus Companion Guide: A Father's Guide to Guarding His Daughter's Purity.
The Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood was created to study and apply scripture while reading the classic Beautiful Girlhood, by Mabel Hale and later revised by Karen Andreola. Beyond Beautiful Girlhood Plus Companion Guide was a culmination of lessons learned from Beautiful Girlhood and creative application of the ideals in Beautiful Girlhood. The first two books were created in the way she mentored her daughter Laura, now 28, and have been valuable resources in extensive use across the United States by home school moms, Sunday school teachers, mentors of young women and grandmothers. These books are an asset to any Christian mother's life and fill a void that sometimes occurs in the Christian community and are tools to develop godly daughters and lasting relationships between mothers and daughters. The third book, The Three Weavers Plus Companion Guide, written with her husband Robert, also focuses on mentoring with the emphasis on father-daughter relationships and purity.
