I am almost finished with Matched. I'm listening to it on audio while I do my housework. I find it very YA. I like YA, but this is super cheesy YA. I wouldn't recommend it. I did read The Life of Pi this summer also, that I would def. recommend. Cool plot with a GREAT twist. If you read it, lemme know what you think.

P.S. I also finally finished the hornets nest! Glad I stuck it out but as far as I'm concerned the first half of it should half of it should have been left at the printers.... glad it picked up though. The second half def went much much quicker.

I finished The Boy in the Striped Pajama's. It was ok. Interesting perspective, actually from a young boy outside the gates of Auschwitz. It was neat to hear what life would have been like for someone on the other side for once, but since it was a naive young boy, it left a lot to the imagination. I felt like a lot of the details were missing, def. YA lit. It went by pretty quick though, and the perspective was cool, so probably worth the read. You could probably get it down easy on a lazy afternoon. If you read it, lemme know.

still on hornet's nest... finally picking up, now that I'm 65% done.... It took a LONG time to get here, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Why did he even bother with all that bologna in the beginning? Was it all really necessary? I don't think so..... On another note, I'm listening to The Boy in the Striped PJ's on audio, so I don't know as I'd be able to give you an honest comparison as if you were going to actually read it. It's always easier to listen to someone else read the book to you. I will let you know what I thought though.
