Hi Senegalady! A girl Katie W. has written to me recently on Shelfari. She asks if I know of any good Anne Rice books. I have never read Anne Rice. Anne's Bibliography is filled with Vampire books and books about witches until her re-conversion to religion. Since then Anne has written mostly religious fiction.

Katie's bookshelf seems to be filled with books of the vampire genre. I would hope that something other than a steady diet of Vampire books could be recommend for her. Her picture seems to indicate a girl somewhere in age between 11 and 13? The classic coming of age book "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn", by Betty Smith pops into my mind as a possible suggestion, but
I feel at a loss as how to proceed and I wonder if you might befriend her and help her to find suitable books for a girl of her age. ???

What we take in mind automatically gets transferred to heart also. :)

There is always a link between the mind and the heart. Even though sometimes this link may not be visible. It seems you are more emotional by nature (like me).

Path always vary according to one's individual nature. Some people have developed mind more than their heart. For them, the path of contemplation is best suited. People with developed heart must choose the path of Devotion. :)

Glad you like my blog. Just so I learn fully, my lessons now are all about feeling/knowing that connection clearly! I've been struggling with people....they just won't behave!:-).....since my beloved cat, kitty Blu died about a month ago. I know that we can't know what kind of pain anyone is carrying....and make it easier to be compassionate about their behavior....but, it's a real struggle for me right now.
I am raw and they appear as if porcupines. :-)
