Well, at this point I STILL haven't gotten to all of my hardcovers.. but I'm randomly adding books I've read as they occur to me. There are So many books... lol gosh I could read a book or five a day and STILL not get through all of the books I want to read before I die. That's not even considering the books I re-read... GEEZ!!

    Dear Morgan,

I’ve missed your participation at Anglophiles Anonymous. I hope it wasn’t something Mrs. Danvers said. Please do drop in – we’re attempting to determine our Top Ten Favourite British Novels, amongst other vital matters. And feel free to start your own discussion threads if none catch your fancy.

    Yours faithfully,

    Tinky

Jeez, I'm such a bossy bee-atch :-) But it's for aesthetic reasons. She sets an old New York stage and tone with the earlier ones, and things degrade from there...

Oh, well, wait a sec, see, your first Wharton has to be "The Age of Innocence"! :-) Honest. Then "The House of Mirth", then you can read "The Reef" or "New York Stories" sometime. "Twilight Sleep" is a roaring twenties sex, drug, money & occult madness of a read - a real ride - but I wouldn't want it to be your first Wharton. How about your third? Please o please - "The Age of Innocence" first!

    Dear Miss Phoenix,

I've presented your case to Viscount Manleigh. He has examined your shelves, and begs to inquire "Are you a good witch? Or a bad witch?"

    Yours faithfully,

    Mrs. Danvers
