more »Avid reader of just about everything. My two claims to fame are that I have a Mini Cooper S and I ran the newspaper at my university for two years. I have three BAs(Russian, English and Education) and a hell of a lot of student loans - due to the nature of Multiple Sclerosis and bi-polar disorder - we are hoping I get the loans forgiven. I am a Secondary English teacher. We have two cats (Chekov, and The Grey mouser). Me? I write and read a lot. Race my Mini Cooper S and go to the IRL races. I collect gargoyles and dragonflies. I love Huskys and hope to get one and name it Rasputin and train it in hand signals and Russian commands.
One of my pet peaves is people calling things stupid when they do not understand them. Tolerate and educate is a good way to look at the world. I am an English and Russian Language teacher. Shakespeare, Tolstoy and Bulgakov are three of my favorite authors. If you have not read The Master and Margarita, do so. An educated reader will be able to approuch the text on three or four levels!
I am a writer. I worked for the local glad rag for about three years. When I started writing the same stories year after year, I got bored. Being a teacher is always something new. I am always writing down ideas and character sketches. Most recently a nurse at the hospital when my dad had tests. Me? I am just Rowan. Always have been, always will be.
