Her days are filled with writing, reading, and taking care of a plethora of animals, including a rescued pound dog, a half-wild cat, parakeets, a guinea pig and a rabbit and a Siamese fighting fish. The occasional raccoon, squirrel, skunk, deer and possum can be seen wandering through her back yard in search of goodies.
