    Hello River Jordan,
Frist of all I would request you to suggest me you best novel, which you personally are the big fan of. Secondly, I would suggest you to read Qur'an,but you should not eascape from it as it is religious book. In order for you to compare your lines and the lines which God presented, you are cordially requested to make time and read at leat one or two lines. We all love books whether relious or non religious attachment. It is Devine book and for further experience in the field of writing profession, you need to read alot. As said, if a person wants to write two pages, he/she must have read two hundred pages. So now it is about you whether read two hundred pages or not.
    With best regards,

Read about tribal society of central asia as well. Where troops of United States are operating in tough terrain of afghanistan. 'Afghanistan: A Volatile Country', is to inform those who are directly and indirectly affected by not only the current events in this at-war country, but by its affects on Pakistan. Emphasizes Afghan relations with both neighboring Pakistan and the United States. This book delves into the forty years of relative peace and prosperity Afghanistan experienced before falling into the shadow of civil war and emerging into the era of the Taliban.

Each morning, before I get to writing, I go through all my online stuff--takes about 45 minutes, along with the emails. I was wondering the same thing about you...How does she do it all--radio, online, writing, etc?

Any word on your latest? You are one of my favorite writers, so I'm cheering for a good read and for you to get a good advance!

Thanks for the note! I would love to hear your show sometime. I've never been to Nashville, but plan to visit one day. Sounds like you are a busy lady!
I am between books right now. Just finished Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and loved it! I can't decide now between starting on Peony in Love or jumping into my bookclub pick, Persuasion.
What are you reading right now?

I am tuning in right now, River. Enjoying, as ever, your eclectic taste. The interview was very nice. I bookmarked beatrice.com. You may ask why I spend a Saturday afternoon (2:00 to 4:00 my time) inside listening the the radio. I am writing about Yoga. Searching for my voice. An ambitious project of writing about Yoga, non-violence and the postures, not so much from a structural framework, though important, but from a standpoint of the daily metaphor we live.
Sunny here this AM. The snow is gone. Things are just beginning to bloom. Still a little cool, but I like it cool. Wore a heavy coat this morning for my walk through the woods.
Do you have any Loius Jordan? "Beans and Cornbread?"

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

I recently read The Thirteenth Tale and really liked it.
I read a lot of Christian Fiction, too, and recently discovered Athol Dickson. I've read his River Rising and The Cure as well as an ARC of his newest Winter Haven. All three are wonderful.

    Thanks River Jordon,
You mentioned Y. Martel's popular novel. Have you read any of his short stories? One in particular named, "The Discordant Violin" in his collection titled, "The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios." Radiant and soulful; read it on a cold lonely night. Have a good day my new friend.... And watch out for Elliott... Dave (Garcon)

I know that this is weird, but were you at the Green Hills YMCA this morning about 7:00? I saw someone that looked like you, but felt awkward coming up to her and saying something like "What do you think of my smile in person?" Or I could have said, "Haven't we met on the Internet before?" Anyway, I did not say anything until now. Hope that you are well. --EG

Since this is all new to me, I am still trying to figure out what is the etiquette for sending messages. "Should everything be public or should I send a private message?" "How does the Private Message work, etc.?" Anyway, I will need to read your novel to determine how it handles "gin". I will also need to listen to you on the radio. The time this Saturday is not real good: Vanderbilt has a basketball game at 4:00 and we have early dinner reservations at The Capital Grill for my wife's birthday. However, I will literally and figuratively hear your voice soon. --EG

I can hear those fans and feel that breeze. No nap for me today. I have to return to work; job not vocation, no calling here, just food on the table. If you are still interested in seminary you can check out www.newseminary.org.
I am an internet ordained minister. I was hoping for a big ring for people to kiss, but none came. They sell caps instead.
    To work....
