I am a poet and have been writing for a little over twenty years. I wrote mostly for my own sanity and as an outlet for the events in my life. I published my first book in 2005 and my second in 2006. That's not to say that I consider myself a great poet, because I don't. I still have a great deal to learn and I am thankful that so many people have been willing to share their advice, and their talents with me.
