A Girl And Her God

Cradle me, sweep me up, away
I want to fall, I want to laugh today
To dance with shoes that never seem to age
To pirouette upon life’s open stage
Some days I’ll stumble, stub a toe or two
But I’ll go on, as long as I have You

Thank you for being my friend. I am 43 in California. I am the church librarian and I call myself the rescuer of our public library tossed books:) They seem to be throwing out all the good histories and novels which were clean. My collection is inherited and gathered at book sales, used book stores and yard sales. I tend to prefer books written before the '60's. They better represent my life view as a rule. Have you read any Francis Schaeffer? Not sure I spelled his name correct. He is a great help in sorting through world views. Hudson Taylor's book is one of those which must be read thoughtfully and slowly. Great stuff. Keep up your hard work, but remember to take some time out for fun reading!

*SIGH* Looking at your shelf makes me DROOL... If books were food, I'd be starving right now.

I re-started "The Screwtape Letters", and am trying to finish up a devotional book on my own virtual shelf. It's really good- it's called "Moments With The Savior", by Ken Gire. I HIGHLY recommend!

    Love you, Rita! :D
