Reeve, check out "The Mysterious Benedict Society Trilogy" by Trenton Lee Steward. It's a wonderful story for ages 10 and above that I think you would really enjoy reading. READ ON...

Reeve, with your interest in YA stories I want to suggest you read several cult classics which are not accepted into the mainstream because of their inability to meet the current standards of Political Correctness in spite of the fact that they are acknowledged to be classics in the YA genre. "Youth in Revolt" and "Revolting Youth" by C.D. Payne are provocative teen angst stories that are somewhat baudy and filled with strong teen sexual situations and teen behavior's that fall under the parental/adult taboo's classification along the lines of J.D. Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye." Hope this helps in your ongoing pursuit of becoming an author of YA stories...
